A cozy summer event at a great summer place! For the third year in row, we offer you this unique opportunity of a week-long TANGO RETREAT in the woods and lakes of the north-eastern region of Poland, called Mazury or the Mazuria!
An extraordinary tango dancer, teacher, maestro, the Mundial winner Tango de Pista 2010 and a great friend SEBASTIAN JIMENEZ will be leading this tango adventure!
TATIANA TATIVANY, an experienced tanguera and a teacher from Ukraine, currently living and working in Poland, is organizing this event and will partner Sebastian during the classes.
WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be lots of tango, many hours of tango!!!
Two tango workshops a day during the five "work days",
daily practicas, moderated, assisted and personal,
individual lessons per your request,
tango talks "charlas",
milongas running late into the nights,
tango performances and shows perhaps by the participants!
numerous summer attractions, like chilling in the sun, swimming in the lake, walks in the woods, bicycle rides, boat rides, daily sauna and jacuzzi, and more!
We aim at gathering a dynamic group of tangueros ever thirsty for more!
LOCATION: Stara Leśniczówka - The Old Forester's Lodge by the lake Mój in the Masuria, near Kętrzyn town. The location is EXTRAORDINARY, surrounded by a forest with old oak trees by the lake. The place has its own pier and a mini-swimming area with boats, kayaks and pedal boats. Guests can also use bicycles, billiards, table tennis, beach volleyball court, sauna, outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi.
Two DANCING ROOMS are available for classes and practicas and a wooden terrace for dancing and outdoor exercises!
ACCOMMODATIONS: There are a number of rooms in the house each accommodating 2, 3 or 4 persons. Each room has its own bathroom with a shower. Two kitchens. A dining room, three living rooms, two large terraces.
MEALS: Meals will include daily breakfast, lunch and dinner and will be freshly cooked and served by a chef living together with us! Grill will be available outside for doing an asado!
