Event Ticket Refunds
Each event organizer sets their own refund policy. Check the event page before purchasing to see whether refunds are available and the deadline for requesting one.
When You’re Entitled to a Refund
You are always entitled to a full refund — including service fees — if the event is cancelled by the organizer, the event is significantly different from what was described, or you are unable to access the venue. These protections apply regardless of the organizer’s stated refund policy.
Service Fees
Our service fee (3.5% + $1.50 per ticket) is non-refundable when you voluntarily cancel your ticket. If the event is cancelled by the organizer, service fees are refunded in full.
Professional Bookings
Cancellation policies for lessons and taxi dancer bookings are set by each professional. Check their profile for cancellation terms before booking.
How to Request a Refund
Contact the event organizer directly through the app’s messaging feature. Organizers are expected to respond within 5 business days. If the organizer does not respond, email us at support@lifetimetango.com and we will step in to help resolve your request.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will appear on the same payment method you used for the purchase.
