We invite you to bring the charm of a bygone era to the dance floor with a light dress suggestion of old-world elegance. Whether it is a touch of lace, a classic waistcoat, or your favorite timeless silhouette, let us celebrate the sophisticated spirit of the milongas of the past together.
DJ MJ will be at the booth, curating a beautiful selection of traditional tango sets to keep the energy flowing all night long. We strictly follow the traditional codes of the milonga, utilizing the cabeceo for invitations and organizing the music into tandas and cortinas. This ensures a respectful and fluid experience for everyone, from seasoned milongueros to those just beginning their tango journey.
Mirek and Jenya welcome you to our home at The Ballroom of Sarasota, where Underground Milonga has been a Saturday staple since 2020. Our community is known for its warmth and hospitality, and we always provide courtesy hors d'oeuvres and beverages to keep you refreshed between dances. What is the schedule for the Underground Milonga: Vintage Glamour event?
The evening kicks off with a beginner class at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 8:00 PM for the milonga, and we'll be dancing until midnight, giving you four full hours on our character-filled hardwood floor!
What is the refund and cancellation policy for this event?
Underground Milonga sets its own refund policy, so please check the event page for the deadline before purchasing your ticket. You are always entitled to a full refund, including fees, if the night is canceled by the organizer. Service fees are non-refundable on a voluntary cancellation.
