About This Event
Unveil the mystery of the dance floor this Saturday, October 31, 2026, as we host our Halloween Milonga Masquerade for a playful night of shadows and tangos. We invite you to join the fun with a light dress suggestion of a creative costume or a masquerade mask to add a touch of whimsy to your embrace, and there will be a costume contest. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the holiday with our warm community while enjoying the spirited atmosphere of a themed evening.
DJ MJ will be at the booth to guide the night with a beautifully curated selection of traditional tango music. The evening follows the classic codes of the milonga, including the use of cabeceo for invitations and the rhythmic flow of tandas and cortinas. Our historic hardwood floor, which has been the heart of our Saturday gatherings since 2020, offers the perfect surface for every turn and adornment.
Your hosts Mirek and Jenya welcome everyone to the Ballroom of Sarasota under the Lifetime Tango brand. Whether you are a local regular, a beginner taking your first steps, or a visitor traveling through Florida, you will find a friendly seat waiting for you. We provide courtesy hors d'oeuvres and beverages to keep you refreshed throughout the night, and no partner is ever required to join the festivities.
The social dancing runs from 8 PM to midnight this Saturday. We look forward to sharing this magical Halloween Masquerade with you at 5660 Swift Road. Come experience the elegance and playfulness of our weekly underground tradition.
