We invite you to lose yourself in the music and the comfort of the close hold, celebrating the community spirit that makes our weekly gathering so special. Whether you are a regular face or a first time guest, this evening is all about the kindness and hospitality found within the embrace.
The Ballroom of Sarasota offers a storied hardwood floor with genuine character, providing the perfect setting for four hours of dancing. Our host DJ MJ will be at the booth, selecting the very best music the golden age has to offer. The evening follows the beloved traditional codes, including the use of the cabeceo to invite partners, well structured tandas, and musical cortinas to refresh the energy of the room.
Lifetime Tango hosts Mirek and Jenya take pride in creating an environment where everyone feels at home. No partner is required to attend, and we take special care to welcome beginners and out of town visitors. Between dances, you can enjoy courtesy hors d'oeuvres and beverages while meeting local dancers and guests from across the country. It is a wonderful way to experience the authentic milonga culture right here in Florida.
Doors open at eight and we continue dancing until midnight. We look forward to seeing you on the floor for this beautiful night of social tango.
