Join us for A Milonguero Night this Saturday, November 21, 2026, where we dedicate our evening to the deep connection of the close embrace. This special night honors the intimate social style of the traditional milongas, inviting you to share a focused and heartfelt communication with your partners on our historic hardwood floor. It is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and savor the quiet power of the tango hug.
DJ MJ will be at the booth selecting the very best of Argentine tango to keep the energy flowing. We follow the traditional codes of the dance, including the use of the cabeceo to invite new partners and the structure of classic tandas and cortinas. Whether you are a local regular or visiting Sarasota for the weekend, you will find a friendly atmosphere where the music and the floor take center stage.
Hosted by Mirek and Jenya under the Lifetime Tango brand, Underground Milonga has been a Saturday staple for dancers since 2020. Our venue at The Ballroom of Sarasota offers a welcoming space for everyone, and no partner is ever required to join the fun. Between dances, you can enjoy courtesy hors d'oeuvres and beverages while catching up with friends old and new.

Where is the venue, and is parking available?
The Underground Milonga is held at The Ballroom of Sarasota, located at 5660 Swift Road, Sarasota, Florida, 34231. There is free, convenient parking available at the venue.
What is the schedule for the evening and how does check-in work?
Doors open at 8:00 PM, and we'll be dancing until midnight, giving you four full hours on the floor! For check-in details, please contact the organizer through the app.
What is the refund and cancellation policy for Underground Milonga?
Underground Milonga sets its own refund policy, so please check the event page for the deadline before you buy. You are always entitled to a full refund, including fees, if a night is cancelled by the organizer. Service fees are non-refundable on a voluntary cancellation. To request one, contact the organizer through the app; if there is no response within 5 business days, email support@lifetimetango.com.
